1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DropSquad, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DropSquad.

2. Platform Description

DropSquad is a real-time auction and e-commerce platform. Brands and influencers host live auction "drops" where users collectively bid ("SMASH") to drive prices down on limited-edition merchandise. The platform combines live auctions with an e-store where customers can purchase merch using tokens, Stripe card payments, or a combination of both.

3. User Accounts

Registration is required to participate in auctions (bidding) and to make purchases on the platform. You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Each person may only hold one account. DropSquad reserves the right to suspend or terminate duplicate accounts.

4. Token System

Tokens are an in-app currency that can be purchased with real money. Tokens are used for auction participation (SMASH actions) and store purchases. Please note the following:

• Tokens are non-refundable once spent on the platform.
• Unused tokens may be refundable within 14 days of purchase, in accordance with EU consumer rights.
• Tokens have no cash value outside the DropSquad platform.

5. Auction Rules

Auctions on DropSquad are time-limited events. The following rules apply:

• Prices decrease with each SMASH action from participants.
• Items unlock for claiming once the designated unlock price is reached.
• Claiming an item requires sufficient tokens or a valid payment method.
• All auction results are final.

6. Purchases & Payments

All payments are processed securely via Stripe. We accept card payments and/or platform tokens. Hybrid payments combining tokens and card are supported. All prices are displayed in EUR and include applicable taxes.

7. Refund Policy

• Unused tokens: Refundable within 14 days of purchase.
• Spent tokens: Non-refundable.
• Store purchases: 14-day return policy in accordance with EU consumer rights.
• Auction claims: Final sale, no returns.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and platform technology is owned by DropSquad or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. User-generated content posted in chat is licensed to DropSquad for the purpose of platform operation, including display, distribution, and moderation.

9. Prohibited Conduct

The following activities are strictly prohibited on DropSquad:

• Use of bots, scripts, or any form of automation.
• Manipulation of auctions or auction outcomes.
• Abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior in chat.
• Use of fraudulent payment methods.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination at DropSquad's sole discretion.

10. Limitation of Liability

The DropSquad platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. DropSquad is not liable for auction outcomes, price fluctuations, or technical issues that may occur during live events. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DropSquad disclaims all liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of DropSquad after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
